A thoroughly enjoyable bit of disco beat - slightly overdone by having nine (9) slightly different versions of essentially the same thing. But at least the translation is correct. Con te partiro does NOT mean "time to say goodbye" IT MEANS "with you depart" ie: "I WILL GO WITH YOU". As much as I like Sarah Brightman's version she has taken considerable license with the translation.

The gay population has always adored Donna Summer, myself included, and "I will go with you" is just another example of how much a fantastic singer and talent she is. This mix of the song really gets the crowds going at the clubs, and her voice throughout still sounds incredible. I LUV it!

Yeah, new lyrics to an Italian operatic song. And fabulous vocals (as always) by the Queen Diva herself. Excellent arrangements, although personally I think there IS such a thing as remix overkill. I stick with the Hex Hector and Club 69 remixes. And I anticipate Donna's next big hit.

Many do not realize that this ballad is originally an Italian love song sung by Andrea Bocelli. I first heard of 'Con te Partiro' on a commercial for a Las Vegas resort while visiting Los Angeles last October. I LOVED this song, but forgot about it. It was a pleasant surprise to be dancing in a club in Atlanta to have this song play. Later, I was told it was redone by Donna Summers and I was hooked instantly. Although her version is not a translation (actually, I'm quite sure that the lyrics are completely altered), it pleases me to know that modern artists keep their eyes and ears open to the works of other genres. Good job Donna for enlightening us with some culture. I think that anyone very interested in this song will follow up on its history and actually learn something outside of our confined shores.

Donna Summer has been and always will be the most talented, passionate and gifted vocalist of our time. Her rendition of "I will Go With You" is overflowing with emotion and power. I strongly recommend this song as well as any of her other musical works. I look forward to adding any of Donna Summer's future productions to my current collection of Donna Summer material. She is the Top!
