I Just purchased this cd box set. It seems alright I suppose. The 3 cds come in indiviual jewel cases. There is no insert to speak of, the front page of each jewel case is just a picture, nothing on the back of the front cover. The back of the jewel case has the tracks, copyright information etc.

The selection of songs (which you can see listed from Amazon) are not the normal selection you get when you mention Dolly Parton, but they are well done.

One thing I noticed was that Jolene was sung a lot softer than the stock standard version of it, a bit of a surprise when you hear it; but I found it nice, seemed a little more mature than the normal version you always hear.

If you like Dolly Parton, and you haven't got these songs by her, this is a buget package, no extras, etc., but the music is good, and that is what is important in the long run.

i want to know if this is the album i need, my mom, who past last year, used to play this song over and over, and i would like to hear the song crippled bird, to make sure its the right song, can you please send me audio of this album, or the song crippled bird to make sure its the song im looking for? i thank you, you dont know what this means to me.
