Entertainment Chloe Lattanzi: Happy at last! Apr 09 10:01am Her mum was one of the biggest stars of the '80s, and now 20 years later Chloe Lattanzi's hoping to follow in her footsteps. One of the stars of the new MTV reality show Rock the Cradle, Chloe's talents are being put under the spotlight to see if she inherited mum Olivia Newton-John's musical genes.Over the past few years, the 22-year-old has fought the life-threatening eating disorder anorexia nervosa. But now she's firmly set on conquering the music industry's pop charts.'I'm doing really well,' Chloe explains. 'My weight is stable and I feel really strong. 'When I was sick, my life fell apart. Nothing was going right. But writing my album No Pain helped me work through my pain and beat anorexia.'Chloe attributes music and her mum as the two things that got her through her illness - and even credits Australia.'I was in Australia when the MTV producers called to tell me I'd got the show,' she says. 'I love Australia so much. I always seem to have good things happen to me when I'm there. It's like a second home to me.'Rock the Cradle pits nine children of the world's most famous musicians against one another in a bid to find out who has real talent and who just has their parent's famous name. But if anyone thinks she's trading on her mum's fame and contacts to get a record deal, Chloe quickly puts them straight. 'My mum's helped me get my foot in the door,' she admits. 'But you have to have the talent, drive and strength to back it up. 'I've been writing for the past four years because I needed to let people hear what I had to say.'I'm going on Rock the Cradle to prove I'm an authentic musician and to clear up any misconceptions about me. I want people to see the real me.'Chloe boasts that she was 'born to rock' and, from the very first time you hear her sing, it becomes clear that she's no carbon copy of Olivia. Her biggest influences are Madonna, Pink Floyd, The Moody Blues, Depeche Mode, Simple
