Here it is, DM's classic "People are People" single. There should be very few people who haven't at least heard of this one, as it was groundbreaking synthpop when it was released and was also the big hit that finally broke Depeche Mode into the mainstream( not to mention here in the United States for the first time ).

This single is of special interest to DM collectors or those who remember the music video because this is the only way to get the Long Version of the song, which was the version used in the People are People music video. The long version is essentially an extended remix of the original but has an interesting twist about halfway through the song.

This single also contains an awesome and rare B-side, "In your Memory", which very nearly outshines People are People itself with it's infectious beat and heavy synths. Definitely one of the more important singles in the DM collection as well as an important part of Synthpop/ 80's New Wave history and at these prices, everyone should own a copy.
