Demon Hunter is a Seattle based christian metal band which first received wide notice in 2002 with the release of their self-titled album on Solid State Records. At first the members of the band chose to hide their identities, creating some controversy over the band. However, their names were later revealed when they undertook their first tour. This was all part of a gimmick that the band had created to parody mainstream metal.
