Michael Eugene Archer (Nacido el 11 de Febrero de 1974 en Richmond, Virginia, USA), más conocido como D’Angelo, es un cantante de soul, pianista, guitarrista, compositor y productor musical. Su interés en la música comenzó desde su niñez, y en su adolescencia consiguió un contrato con la discografica EMI. Tiempo después, lanzó su primer album, Brown Sugar, el 3 de julio de 1995, recibiendo excelentes críticas y altas ventas debido al éxito de 2 hit singles, «Lady» y «Brown Sugar». La Revista Rolling Stone incluyó a Brown Sugar dentro de los «Albums esenciales de los 90’s». Además, D’Angelo recibió 3 nominaciones al Grammy, 1 por el álbum y 2 por sus singles. |
