- a must have for any cure fanfor years i have passed over this disc because it offered no unreleased b-sides. as the years have passed, my rabidity of being a cure fan has grown to such an extreme that i have become a completist and must own everything. passing up this CD all of those times is something i now regret, because to hear the performance of last dance, fascination street, prayers for rain and such a performance of disintegration live could leave a fan speechless. this was one hell of a performance (especially disintegration) and i now envy anyone who was at that concert..highly recommended for any cure fan to not pass up simply because it has no unreleased material.

- Ignore the single. Listen to the B-SidesThe B-Sides are the only reason I bought this single. They're live renditions of DISINTEGRATION tunes from the '89 Wembley performances, and they're amazing. I really hope Robert finally fulfills his promise of releasing a full show from that era sometime within my lifetime.
The version of "Disintegration" included is the best performance of the song I've ever heard. Starting off with a random guitar riff, and exploding into a quicker, stronger version of the song, it's amazing to listen to with headphones on. "Fascination Street" is always a ROCKING live tune. I'm glad they included "Last Dance" and "Prayers For Rain" as well, since they're not as well-known as other songs from the album.
One word of warning, there's a two second glitch in the middle of "Last Dance." I've looked into it, and it's apparently in quite a few copies of the US Pictures of You single. It's nothing big, and certainly doesn't take away from the killer performances available on the disc.
Trust me, if you want to hear The Cure at the top of their live game, buy this. It's short and sweet.

- Great Single with Oustanding Extra TracksThe Cure were riding a high with the "Disintegration" album in 1989. This single (make that EP) runs 5 tracks, 27 min. and is really great all around. "Pictures of You", the outstanding track of "Desintegration" shows up here in a slightly different (remixed) version from the album and, more importantly, not the full length version, reason I cannot rate this 5 stars. The extra tracks, though, are outstanding. They contain live versions of "Last Dance", "Fascination Street" (since then a concert fave), an outstanding "Prayers for Rain", and last but not least an 8 min. live version of the title track of "Disintegration". Just fab.

- F.A.N.-T.A.S.T.I.C.This is the BEST song EVER recorded. (no doubt at all...) Specially the album version which is the full-length. What I don't understand is WHY the extended remix is skipped on this one?!?! It's released only on the vinyl version, so get that one... I like the live versions but (unlike the other 3 single CD's from Disintegration) here we miss the EXTENDED REMIX VERSION!!!

- One of The Cure's best singles...I, as did another reviewer, passed up on buying this single because it didn't have any b-sides. I, also, am a completionist and found this at a local record store and decided to buy it since it was the only single from Disintegration which I didn't own. Pictures Of You is an outstanding song but if you buy this single for anything, get it for the live performances. 'Last Dance' is even more ethereal than the studio version, 'Fascination Street' is even more powerful and driving, 'Prayers For Rain' is more gripping and tense, and 'Disintegration' is more breath-taking and energetic. These tracks are taken from the famous Wembley '89 concert, where and when the mega-rare (now collector's item) Entreat was recorded. Don't make the same mistake as I did and pass this one up. If you want to hear some of The Cure's best live work, get this single at once, it's relatively inexpensive as well.
