Cypress Hill is an American hip hop group from South Gate, California. Cypress Hill was the first latino group to have platinum and multi-platinum albums and one of the first rap groups to gain a following with fans of alternative and hard rock music. The band was originally called DVX, but the name was changed after Mellow Man Ace left in 1988. Their first album, which was self-titled, was released in August 1991. Its single was "Phuncky Feel One," but it was the B-side "How I Could Just Kill A Man" (formerly "Trigga Happy Nigga") that attracted more airplay on urban radio and college radio. |

Earlier this morning, a shooting at the Norwood Palace Bar in Brooklyn has left one person dead and others injured. Around 3 a.m., patrons got into a huge fight and then, according to WCBS 2 , "Two plain clothes officers with the anti-crime unit entered the bar in Cypress Hill, and that's when, police said, gunfire was exchanged." Slash To Release Solo Album Through Roadrunner Date: 03 Nov 2009

The former GNR man inks a deal with Roadrunner records for his forthcoming solo album. Slash ’s solo album (which is heavily rumoured to contain contributions from Ozzy Osbourne, M. Shadows, Fergie, Cypress Hill and more) is expected to arrive in the spring of 2010.
