2 CD version includes a bonus live concert while the first disc features 14 hits. Culture Club spearheaded the British pop movement of the early '80s with their smooth-but-bubbly amalgam of soul, pop and reggae. The androgynous Boy George's silky smooth, SmokeyRobinson-influenced vocal style and intelligent, emotional songs were the keys to the band's worldwide success. The band's infectious pop hits from their salad days are presented on the second disc of this collection (Greatest Moents). The first disc, capturing the band live in the VH1 studio documents their phoenix-like re-emergence after personal conflicts and George's substance abuse brought about a temporaryhalt to their pop reign. The live disc finds Culture Club tackling both old and new material in their inimitable fashion.
