- SAME PRODUCT DIFFERENT TITLEThis same tracked CD has been an import under many names. The fact that it is available on Amazon is a plus. The most notable aspect of this disc is that it contains Connie's second Lp recording "The Exciting Connie Francis" and several of her many huge hit singles.
Not your typical CD "hit package" rehash thanks to the nice and rare inclusion of the Lp. The sound quality is good. You can find the same product with the same cover (altered background) but only at auction so if you don't feel like going through that ordeal, by all means buy this now before they run out. This is the first time I have seen this particular release at a major on line store. Bravo Amazon!
As for the songs, "The Exciting C.F." was Connie's first venture into adult popular song (she was a huge teen idol in 1959 when the Lp was issued and failed to generate much interest and is considered highly collectible). The lack of enthusiasm was not due to the public, but to MGM's lack of promotion. They were making far too much money off of Connie's singles to have an Lp of a different nature interfer due to her musical adventerous nature (she had the best contract in the business--complete control over all her recordings). Connie has stated her best work has been her Lp work and I for one agree. She put out many great hit singles, but most pale compare to her serious album work.
Thanks again Amazon. Fans and music lovers alike, ENJOY!!!

- Hold me, thrill me... Halt! Küssen verboten!I think that my review will be enough if I mention that a title song ("Hold me, thrill me, kiss me", original playing time 3'45") has been edited on this disc: third verse ("Kiss me, kiss me...") and reprise were cut off so there is no kissing at all and its playing time is only 2'09" ! Thus Pegasus (Germany) should have entitled this song and disc also shorter: "Hold me, Thrill me". (If you are looking for more attractions, buy this disc and find there excessive and distorted bass and cued track "Breakin' in a brand new broken heart". I have purchased it to collect unavailable elsewhere tracks "How did he look?", "Time after time", "Blame it on my youth" and "That's all"). That's all!.
