I had not heard a Connie Francis recording for many years until I picked up this CD. I had heard that she had lost her voice and was not sure what to expect. The voice truely is not what it was years ago but what impressed me was the incredible bonding with the audience and the phrasing and emotion of her singing (still intact and even better). She is a first class entertainer. After a few more listens, I stopped expecting to hear a younger Connie and began to enjoy her voice for what it is (even if a bit off-key). She is still a fantastic singer and enertainer. I'm looking forward to her next offering.

This album is one of my favorites. "Let Me Try Again" is Connie's heartfelt embrace of her loyal audience which has stuck with her through her many personal ups and downs over the years. She sings it with feeling. "Maybe This Time" - very well sung, believable, uplifting. "If I Never Sing Another Song" - from the heart. Bravo!

I can only say that Connie did her best on this recording. Some of her songs are voice weak, others aren't like they used to be. Her voice is lacking the strengh, smoothness and the holding out of the notes.I know it must take a lot to stand before her fans and sing knowing that her voice is weak. Still she does the concert and gives all that she has to give, weak or strong.I would still attend one of her concerts because she is still the Connie that we know from many years again and love. She has been through a lot of sadness in her life but she sings to bring us joy and happiness, even if she is off key somewhat. But to me she is still a "STAR."

This album is extremely fantastic and worth buying. It was an album whereby this talented songbird performed a 'life' performance after disappearing for quite some time. The song 'Everybody's Somebody's Fool' is really well performed! and the rest of the oldtime hits found in this album is really great! Buy it and take a listen!

Connie Francis was and still is a beautiful lady and singer. Her voice still sounds GREAT! Even if you aren't a Connie Francis fan you will love this CD. I would love to here from any Connie francis fans or maybe even Connie Francis herself!END
