Award winning LINKIN PARK have confirmed a Dublin date at the RDS Arena on Sunday 22 June 2008 ( subject to license ) with very special guests QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE. Fans can look forward to LINKIN PARK performing tracks from their award-winning albums Minutes to Midnight, Meteora and Hybrid Theory.
Tickets from €69.50 including booking fee are on sale Wednesday 9 April at 8am.
LINKIN PARK is Chester Bennington ( vocals ), Rob Bourdon ( drums ), Brad Delson ( guitar ), Joe Hahn ( DJ ), Dave “Phoenix” Farrell ( bass ), and Mike Shinoda ( vocals ). They have earned two Grammy Awards, the first for Best Hard Rock Performance in 2002 with their hit single “Crawling” and the second for Best Rap/Sung Collaboration with Jay-Z in 2006 for the innovative “Numb/Encore.” Linkin Park has sold 40 million records worldwide since their debut in 2000. The Diamond-Certified Hybrid Theory has alone sold more than 18 million copies. In addition, Linkin Park established Music For Relief with the Red Cross in January 2005 to help aid victims of world catastrophes and combat global warming.
QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE who stole the show at the second leg of the Australian V Festival on Sunday ( March 30 ) have been confirmed as very special guests. ‘In front of the biggest crowd of the day, the band ripped through an epic set drawn largely from 2007 album 'Era Vulgaris. Josh Homme worked parts of 'Rehab' by Amy Winehouse and Duran Duran's 'Girls On Film' into a stunning version of 'Feel Good Hit Of The Summer', which provoked a frenzy of crowd surfers and mosh pits. Homme was clearly in a fighting mood as he launched himself into his band's equipment, knocking over microphone stands and keyboards during 'Sick, Sick, Sick'. However, by the end of regular set closer 'No One Knows', the frontman had relaxed a little and ended the night by inviting everyone in the audience to a party’. ( NME.COM )

SUMMERFEST 2008, June 26th - July 6th!
Summerfest is an annual, 11 day music festival located on the shore of Lake Michigan at the Henry W. Meier Summerfest Grounds in Milwaukee, WI. The Fest features one headliner at the Marcus Amphitheater in addition to the many national and regional live acts featured throughout the festival grounds. Admission to the fest is $15 each day and includes access to acts on many different stages. Each night's headliner plays at the Marcus Amphitheater for an additional cost (this cost does include admission to the regular festival).
