If Avril Lavigne were actually talented, good looking and not such a pathetic slag, she'd be Chantal Kreviazuk, one of our favorite artists. Like Sarah McLachlan with more spunk, Kreviazuk is the singer/songwriter/producer that helped Lavigne's last album go multi-platinum. They have since parted ways and we hear that Avril's new shit is - well - shit. Kreviazuk herself is back with a new album, Ghost Stories, already a hit in Canada and out in the U.S. this year. Assured, defiant and nuanced.
