Creada en 1998 por el vocalista Benjamin Burnley y el batería Jeremy Hummel. En 1999 la banda tomó el nombre de "Plan 9", que en el 2000, después de varios cambios, llegó al nombre de "Breaking Benjamin". Aaron Fink y Mark Klepaski, ambos amigos de Benjamin Burnley, entraron en la banda, dejando la anterior; entrando como guitarrista y bajista. La banda firmo un contrato con Hollywood Records en el 2001, editando un EP que vendió 2.000 copias. |
