WOW MONICA CLEARLY GETS THE LEAD IN THIS SONG. I DON'T THINK IT WAS FAIR TO HAVE THEM BOTH SING TOGETHER B/C THEY HAVE TWO DIFFERENT STYLES. BUT IT'S STILL A GREAT SONG AND WILL GO DOWN IN HISTORY. IF YOU LIKE THIS SONG I STRONGLY RECCOMEND BRANDY'S CD "NEVER SAY NEVER" WHICH HAS THIS SONG ON IT AND ALSO HAS THE HITS "ANGEL IN DISGUISE", "ALMOST DOESN'T COUNT", "TOP OF THE WORLD", & "HAVE YOU EVER." HAVE A NICE DAY.

I really hate this song.I have come to hate it because it is stupid.I really hate the video too. It sucks!At least if you do a video get a cute guy! MY WORD!Well I don't want to get crazy in this here thingie so this is it for right now. Oh, Monica isn't bad at singing and her style.It is Brandy who seems to not have a clue.

I luv the song that Monica and Brandy (2 of my All-Time Main Music picks) which is excellent and considered an A+. Everytime I hear that record, it reminds me of how they started working together on the track. U can't go wrong on this. Namean? It's off the album that which is Brandy's breakthrough "Never Say Never" which the hottest-selling CD and the best R&B album of All-Time. I still have it today which I bought it cheap at a thrift shop. If u luv Beyonce, A. Keys, Tamia, or whobody, then this is the right song 4 u.

I like Brandy and all and she has a good career going on, but I don't think she should do duets with anyone whose voice is more powerful than hers. "The Boy Is Mine" is a good song that came out in 1998- the year that music began to really suck. The video was alright and Monica's hair looked great. But you know, if you're going to have a video that's about fighting over a guy, make sure that he's cute, okay? Mekhi Phifer is cool, but he's not all that. Anway, I enjoy the song and just recently I've found myself being able to relate to it, but that's another story for another time.
