- a beautiful, romantic and addictive album....Those of you who read my last review of "II" (their other album) will know that I am a big fan of the Boyz. I still am, by the way (no shame in that, right?). This CD has some of the most beautiful, most romantic, and catchy R&B songs I have ever had the pleasure to listen to!
The four part harmony has never sounded sweeter than it does on the tracks you will find on "Evolution." "Doin' Just Fine" is a post-relationship song about getting back on your feet again after a bad break-up. It is sang with expression, grace and the smooth style we have come to expect from Nathan Morris, Shawn Stockman, Michael McCary and Wanya Morris. "Never," "4 Seasons of Loneliness," and "Girl in the Life Magazine" glide over a beautifully luscious arrangement of instruments and the smooth crooning. Then, comes one of the biggest hits from this album. That song is, of course, "A Song For Mama" (from the SOUL FOOD soundtrack).
Two of the most underappreciated tracks on this album that I really like a lot are "Baby C'Mon" (produced by Sean Puffy Combs), and "Come On," which features guest Missy Elliot and was co-written with Sting.
Check it out! You will be happy you did.

- Their best albumI loved this cd of theirs. This has some damn beautiful songs on it. Their first cd was great but they got so much better with this. Four Seasons of Lonliness and Doin Just Fine are such amazing songs. One song that always makes me cry and I can only guess it's because it's so good, is A Song For Mama. I keep going back to this cd often. It is a favourite of mine in general. The guys harmonies are terrific and the soul here is superb. Get this if you don't already have it, because it's such a smooth and chilled cd, you'll love it too.

- Checkin out daddy's cds pays off well!Boyz II Men have really done a good job on this album. i found evolution when i was going through my dad's cd collection so i took it and put it in my discman. since i put it in i cant take it out. i love this album from begining to end. Boyz II Men have very meaningful and sincere lyrics unlike so many groups out there today. My favourite songs on here are "4seasons", "Never", "Doin just fine", "Mama" and "To the limit". everyone should have this cd. PEACE

- Congratulations Boyz II Men!I wholeheartedly recommend this CD to anyone who appreciates emotion expressed through sound. I think my favorite song is "Girl in the Life Magazine" which reminds me of "It's so hard to say Goodbye to Yesterday" and I feel has technical, lyrical, and vocal assets beyond songs such as "come on" or even "I'll Make love to You". I also love "Doin' Just Fine", "A Song for Mama" and virtually every other song on the CD. Maybe it is because my entire family listens along, and my friends try to sing along, or because I just like "good, clean music". I feel qualified to comment only because I don't normally listen to R&B, I listen to Rock, Pop, Country, Classical, and Latin, but this is the first CD I've bought in three years, congratulations Boyz II Men, I don't regret it.
