There were two artists with this name. (1) Bobby Valentino is a UK violinist/vocalist/songwriter/actor who began in the music business in 1975 as a member of the Fabulous Poodles. During a 30+ year career that includes time in London and Texas, he has played with the likes of Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Mike Oldfield, Nick Lowe, Billy Bragg, Mark Knopfler, Big Country and many, many more. He played the violin on and co-wrote the Bluebells hit "Young at Heart" and has appeared on Top of the Pops 17 times. |
