Teegarden & Van Winkle were composed of Skip Knape (electric organ, organ pedal bass, vocals), and David Teegarden (drums, vocals). Formed in Tulsa, they took their folksy, humorous rock to Detroit. Their single "God, Love and Rock & Roll" peaked at #22 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 1970.
