"Maria" is a fantastic single, one that would proudly stand alongside "Heart of Glass", "Call Me", and "Rapture". It has all the elements of the classic Blondie singles: a catchy pop tune, brilliant lyrics, and Debbie Harry giving killer vocals. It is nice to see that age and time apart has not dulled Blondie.

Sadly, the remixes do the song no justice. Sorry, but Blondie and remixing do not mix well.

I heard this single accidentally one day while flipping radio stations. I took me no time at all to know who it was. I have loved Blondie for ages but never thought it would be possible to regain a sound once thought lost to the decades. The music is moving and upbeat. Not overly intense mentally but not bubblegum pop either. I love it. Everytime I hear it it gets me all revved up. Reminds me of the way I felt when "Call Me" was released. You just had to sing along. It transported you. There is something truly wonderful about the music of this group. You can never reproduce the freshness of it. The music will be good forever as far as I'm concerned. I listened to this Cd so much that it's already gotten scratched, so well,I'll pay again to replace it. Long live Blondie!

WOW, AFTER HEARING "MARIA", THE FIRST RELEASE OFF THE NEW CD "NO EXIT" I RUSHED OUT TO BE THE FIRST TO GET IT. WELL, I LOVE IT ! I HAVE T ADMIT THAT IT DID TAKE ME A WHILE TO GET INTO THE BLONDIE SOUND AGAIN, AFTER ALL IT HAS BEEN OVER 10 YEARS SINCE BLONDIE HAS RELEASED ANY MUSIC. BUT AFTER I GOT BACK INTO MY BLONDIE MODE, I FEEL THAT I HAVE GONE FULL CIRCLE W/ THE BAND. THEY JUST PROVE THAT YOU CAN GO HOME AGAIN. IF YOUR A TRUE BLONDIE FAN, YOU'LL HAVE TO BUY THIS ONE TO COMPLETE YOUR COLLECTION.SIT BACK AND OPEN YOUR MIND ......AND ENJOY!

THIS SONG IS JUST WONDERFULL, JUST WHEN YOU THOUGHT THE POP CHARTS WAS FULL OF DROSS ALONG COMES BLONDIE WITH A MAGICAL ANTHEM THAT DESERVES TO BE AT THE TOP OF THE CHARTS.

Just a few words to describe this cd, a must in any collection. Blondie are simply the greatest pop band of any generation.
