- Perfect... ?
This "hits" album is exactly that--hits. These are the most popular songs, without a doubt. Unfortunately, this is not a "best of."

Not included:
dumpweed
apple shampoo
party song
girl next door
i wont be home for christmas
anthem pt 2
roller coaster
every time i look for you

On the other hand, it does include, "Another Girl, Another Planet," which, as far as I know, is not on any other albums or singles. This is the perfect CD for new fans. Older fans would probably not be satisfied.

Best cd I have ever purchased! Here are the songs:
1. Carousel - 8/10 - from cheshire cat, an older song along with #2.
2. M+Ms - 7/10 - Worst song on the disc.
3. Dammit - 8/10 - Not that bad for a huge-o hit!
4. Josie - 9/10 - Great refrain! Also buy the hysterical vid!
5. What's My Age Again - 11/10 - One the best 4 on the cd..
6. All The Small Things - 10/10 - I loved "Enema"...
7. Adam's Song - 8/10 - "I spilled a cup of apple juice in the hall" - Mark
8. Man Overboard - 9/10 - Only one from the cd Mark Travis/Tom Show
9. The Rock Show - 10/10 -Great refrain! Hate the faded ending. (The way they bleep it is hysterical!)
10. First Date -100000/10 - BEST SONG EVER. EXPLAINS REAL LIFE PROBLEMS!
11. Stay Together For The Kids 10/10- Great guitar riff
12. Feeling This - 10/10 - Goood.
13. I Miss You - 9/10 - Sounds like barenaked ladies...

- The Hits
Sadly, at this point it doesn't look like Blink means to come back together anytime soon. I'm hoping that someday they will, but the release of a greatest hits album usually signals the near ending of a band, but not always, which is why I was both excited and sad when I heard Blink was releasing a greatest hits album. Supposedly Box Car Racer was the cause of the band falling apart, but there were other factors involved too. I hear that Tom is currently working with his new band "Angels and Airwaves", which sounds like it's worth checking out. But nothing can replace Blink.
Although I think this album doesn't showcase Blink's best work, it does have some good songs on it, such as the immature classic "What's My Age Again" from Enema of the State and the totally cool "Carousel" and "M+Ms" from Cheshire Cat. I enjoy most of them, but this is basically an album made entirely up of all the songs that people have gotten sick of or heard constantly on the radio. But hey, like I said, this has some really good songs, and includes the song "Not Now", which was supposed to be on Blink's untitled CD.
No one can match Tom's unique voice, Mark's energetic basswork, and Travis's awesome drumming. There is no better drummer out there today, Green Day's Tre Cool coming in for a close second. So get it. It's a good introduction for new fans and something older fans may or may not dig, depending on their favorite Blink-182 era.
Well....I salute you, Blink-182. I hope this isn't the end.

- it lives up to the title
this is my first blink-182 cd, i'm not one of those people who have worshiped them since their very first cd. the first exposur i had to blink-182 was when i saw their The Rock Show video on MTV when i was 11. i had liked them ever since, but never bought anything bought them. i got this because it had all of their best songs. it does run a little long though. although neccisary to show the proggression of the band, i thought Carousel and M+M's were pretty weak songs. i also didn't think it needed 4 songs from their latest album, which got a 'meh' reaction from fans. but my favorite song on the CD, I Miss You, is from that latest album. although i'm late in getting into them, i really hope this isnt the end of blink-182.
