Just an idea of what a video for "Spend Another Night" could have been like The scene-pics are darker because they're supposed to be at night Billy Gilman's debut-album "One Voice" was released in the early summer of 2000. The three singles were the title-track, a preachy song about the violence in the world seen through the eyes of a child. The second single was "Oklahoma" - tear-jerker about a foster-child about to meet his biological father for the first time ever. The third and last single of the album was "There's A Hero", a song about never giving up on yourself and your dreams. The video had scenes of past St Jude (a children's hospital) patients, and the profits of the song went to this research charity. Many songs were about love, these were never released as singles because they weren't age-appropriate for then 12-year-old Billy. I just wanted to make a video-idea for this amazing song that you just don't expect an 11-year-old to be able to deliver the way Billy did.
