Big Country es una banda de rock de Dunfermline, Scotland, muy popular a comienzos de los ochenta hasta mediados de esa decada aun siguen editando material para sus seguidores. La banda era notable por su musica con fuerte acento heavy con estilos escoceses y de musica marcial, tambien por tocar y hacer ingenieria de sonido para que sus guitarras sonaran como gaitas y otros tipos de instrumentos tradicionales folkloricos.
