We’ve tallied the votes, and Spinal Tap and all eight of their deceased drummers was named the best fake band, edging a bunch of 80s bands, a pair of groups invented by Cameron Crowe, wannabe Beatles and acts fronted by Brendan Fraser and Jack White.
