- One of the Best Barry White Albums Ever
I have had this album on vinyl, cassette, 8-track, and CD. It is by far one of the best albums that Barry has ever recorded. It's just smooth all the way through

- And i quote........
I would like to quote #3 onthis CD "You're so good, you're bad" Yes, I am referring to BW's CD "sings for someone.." By most considered to be the last great album by BW in the 70's. Definitely a must-have. The full-length version of "It's Ecstacy..." Oh my goodness!!!!!!!!

- Somebody loves Barry White
I have been a Barry White fan for over 30 years. His music, his lyrics, his atmosphere is all conducive to what the world needs and we all know that is love. Love is the only thing that can conquer all. Love of music, love of men, love of women, love of children, just plain old love is what Barry White has eluded to all of these years. I love what Barry White has done with music, I love what Barry White has done for society, and I especially love what Barry White has done and continues to do for me presently, reassure me of LOVE.

- Simply put, "One of Barry's Best"
Every once in a while, A truly great album stands out in an artist's discography. This is one of the many for the "The Man, The Maestro". As soothing as a great liquer, this recording does and says everything that the novice wants to. Curl up to this and absorb it. A 5 star item!

- Flowers, candy, and Barry White! They'll work every time!
Unbeknowst to me at the time of the album's release, it came with a choice of two covers: a dark sable fur picture or a lighter-colored one (I got the former). In addition to the respective covers, the "locket" on the cover was removable, allowing the purchaser to insert a photo of himself/herself or his/her beloved.

Oh, the 70's was so thematic!!!

That said, the music is typical White: luscious strings, catchy "bedroom" lyrics, and Barry's unmistakable and alluring bass, perfectly suited for any romantic interlude. The two charttoppers are "Playing Your Game" and "It's Ecstasy When You Lay Down Next To Me"; however, the best track is the last one: "Of All the Guys in the World," a song that needs no explanation in expressing how lucky the singer/giver feels to be a part of the listener's/receiver's life.

White always knew the right chords, musically and lyrically, to strike when expressing romanticism at its best.
