- This is one of Barry's Best AlbumsBarry Hit paydirt with this album. The hit songs Never Gonna Give You Up and Honey Please are not the only hot songs. My sentimental favorite is Girl its true. A must for The Barry White Fan.

- Stone Cold OnStone Gon' is Barry White's first top twenty hit on the pop charts and it contained his first top ten pop single "Never, Never Gonna Give You Up". Mr. White is of course best known for that honey-dipped, velvet baritone voice of his which has almost taken on a life of its own. The voice is his calling card, but there is so much more to him as an artist. He incorporated an orchestra into his music and this sound laid down the blueprint for disco with the use of strings and horns. He is a crisp and efficient writer who can get at your soul. Stone Gon' is still a bit of a work in progress (he would perfect the formula on Can't Get Enough) as he is feeling out his sound, but the songs are lush and beautiful.

- A Soulful MasterpieceNo one could tell a woman how much he loves her like Barry White. This album is proof of that. My Mom bought this album shortly after its release, and she still plays it all the time. These songs are beautiful, and Barry's words at intervals throughout the songs are gorgeous. They brighten the album all the more, and now that it's on CD, it sounds better than ever. Each sound is crystal clear and flawless. This is Barry at his best!
