- Barry Manilow is a master of the love ballad.I have always appreciated the music of Barry Manilow. In today's world where the beat is the most important part, and the lyrics are taken straight from the gutter, it is refreshing to hear the music of a truly gifted composer, and a fine human being. Mr. Manilow artfully weaves his melodies together with heart-felt lyrics that touch everyone that listens. This album/CD is one of his best. Weekend in New England soars with emotion that climaxes with a gentle resolution that flows like a soft autumn breeze. A classic in every sense. Thank you Barry Manilow

- THIS ALBUM RANKS AS MY ALL TIME MANILOW FAVORITE!IT'S UNUSAL TO BUY AN ALBUM AND LOVE EVERY SONG BUT THIS RELEASE IS THE EXCEPTION. ALONG WITH THE HITS "LOOKS LIKE WE MADE IT" AND "WEEKEND IN NEW ENGLAND", I LOVE THE STUDIO EDITION OF "DAYBREAK" AND THE SONGS THAT FEATURE HIS PIANO PLAYING: "SEE THE SHOW AGAIN", "ALL THE TIME". I ONLY WISH THAT ARISTA WOULD RE-RELEASE THIS ONE AS A MASTERS SELECTION WITH A BONUS SONG!

- This Album Turned Me on to MUSICI was ten when this album was released, and my older sister bought it to play on her new turntable. Hearing her play it jolted me...it awoke in me a love of music that persists to this day. I've got my sister and Barry to thank for my love of music. On this album, Barry takes you on a great journey through a fantastic range of emotions. From his gleeful laughter as he frenetically pounds the keys on "Jump Shout Boogie" to the depths of angst with his mournful sighs in "All the Time." You can hear the longing in every note he sings in "Weekend in New England" and feel the stirring feelings of an old flame in his lyrics in "Looks Like We Made It." Great piano, great vocals, great lyrics, the man is amazing. The title says it all - THIS ONE'S FOR YOU

- I bought this the first time when it was on vinylI didn't plan to buy this CD. I happened to be in my old high school haunt, Tower Records, and there it was in front of me, so in a fit of nostalgia, I bought it. According to the notes, this first came out in 1976 -- is that right? I'm happy to say that this album is still very good, even at 29-and-holding.
