- Amazing!!!This song is completely different from all the usual Aerosmith stuff. I have 6 of their albums and this is more pop than rock to be honest. It also isn't written by the band, it is written by Dianne Warren who writes a lot of music for people like Celine Dion. That said i have to say that the song has become my favourite song ever. I saw Aerosmith live at Wembley in July 1999 and when they played this the whole stadium hushed as the first chords started playing, then practically the whole stadium started singing along to the song, it was fantastic. A lot of Aerosmith die-hards may not like it but it was the best selling single worldwide in 1998 and i'm sure millions of people can't all be wrong!!!

- Don't Want To Miss A ThingI love this song. I remember the first time I heard it, I was on my way to work, and I kept thinking, I know that voice, who is singing this song. I just love Steven Tyler's voice, and I thought, this has to be him, but I've never heard him sing a song like this before. I just fell in love with this song. It's one of my favorites from Aerosmith.

- To all of the hardcore aerosmith fanslighten up, so they wanted a pop record...every singer makes the concession eventually, in order to get a hit record, you have to go outside your genre, so they did...but i mean, this is a beautifu song...dream on was a ballad, and no one gripes about that...i have never heard steve sing like that...maybe never will again...i get chills when i hear this song...

- Misconception from most of the reviewersI observed that many HardCore Aerosmith fans loathe this song while ladies and non-Aerosmith-fans love it. And of course it will happen as this song was penned by Dianne Warren (the wife of the genius David Foster) instead of Steven Tyler/Joe Perry. I hope this will change the mind of some HardCore Aerosmith fans that think Aerosmith sold out with this - I don't think they did, why would they ever need to sell out? They are the best - It's just a "side project" which I think an AMAZING one...CHEERS
