There seems to be some confusion with
this box set from (2002) as opposed to
the discontinued one from several years
back. Fortunately for me I snagged it
for $169 brand new, not $400. Anyway,
this is the US version and doesn't have
the original Aussie "High Voltage","TNT",
double live CD (this is the single 14
track version), and, "Still Upper Lip" is
only one CD, not the double.
Before I list the CDs I'll tell you what
it DOES have. All CDs are remastered for
improved sound performance. Each CD
comes with a mini-booklet that
has tons of photos and documents what
the band was doing at that particular
time. Think of it as a chronological
companion to go with all your CDs
otherwise not released. Some of the
artwork is slightly different, and
ALL of the tray liners where the CD
sits have great live pictures of the
band when you take out the CD. Very
nice touch!
The CDs are as follows.
Jailbreak '74 (actually released in '84)
High Voltage (US Version)
Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap
Let There Be Rock
Powerage
If You Wnat Blood You've Got It
Highway To Hell
Back In Black
For Those About To Rock We Salute You
Flick Of The Switch
Fly On The Wall
Who Made Who
Blow Up Your Video
Razor's Edge
AC/DC Live
Ballbreaker
Stiff Upper Lip
Some may be dissapointed, but if you're
the type of person that wants the
entire American collection with the
exception of "Black Ice", just the
way you remember it on vinyl, this is
for you! Also, great for first timers
that want a comprehensive collection
of their music, Also, the box is not
as big as expected. It's about
7"(w)x5.5"(h) and has a cool
look with the AC/DC logo in volcanic
colors on a black box. For those that
don't want to pay $300-400, be patient
and you can find it in the Amazon
marketplace for under $200.
