ABC se formó en el año 1980 en Sheffield, Inglaterra luego de que Martin Fry, un periodista musical, entrevistó a la banda Vice Versa para su fanzine "Modern Drugs". Ellos adoptaron a Fry como vocalista y cambiaron su nombre por ABC. La reagrupada banda fue anidada dentro del nuevo movimiento llamado en esos tiempos "New Romantic" (o Nuevo Romántico), que incluía entre otras bandas a: Duran Duran, Spandau Ballet y The Human League. |
