- British Boyband Shines America!A1 had come a long way in the music business since 1999. Their debut CD "Here We Come" had four top ten hit in the UK and a huge success all over the world. The second cd "The A List", a more R&B music style that had earmed two number one songs all over the UK. Finally their latest cd "Make It Good", they went to another direction to a more pop rock music. They played more instruments in this cd. With the Hit single "Caught In The Middle", A1 continues to further their carrer with their unique talent and love for music. A1 is not just another boyband, they don't stick to the same formula like the other boybands. Each album they released sound diferrent. It is not easy to break in America with a pop music but A1 could break all the barriers because of their raw talent. With seven selected songs from their prevoius cds. It gives us a taste of what A1 has got to offer America. A1 could do it all, they could play instruments, dance, sing, and write. What more can you ask.

- Awesome albumSo maybe this album has only 7 songs. Call it a sampler! If you're just getting into a1 then this album will do good for you. If you decide that you like them then buy their imports like their first album "Here We Come" and their second one "The A List" and then buy "Make It Good" This CD features a mix of songs from all three of those albums. So don't expect this album to be a big whoo-ha for all you music lovers. These guys have solid harmonies, best I've ever heard. I love their music, been loving it for a long time even before they hit the U.S. It's good they did because these guys deserve the credit. 1. Caught in the Middle - a big difference from their last album if you listened to their pop-like song "Same Old Brand New You" 2. Make It Good - Displays more of their great harmony 3. When I'm Missing You - shows just how good Ben can sing, high or low 4. Everytime - one of the best songs on their first album, this song really expresses how they feel and once again their harmony! 5. If I Can't Have You - once again what can I say? Their harmony says it all, when they sing the song just sounds excellent! 6. One More Try - Another good song from their 2nd album. You can really hear Christian's awesome guitar skills, love that and love the harmony! 7. Same Old Brand New You - This song has that pop edge to it, I think it's the one song that sounds like the most pop out of this whole album. It's a wonderful song. Just as catchy as the other ones. Well hopefully this can help any new a1 fans, buy this CD as a small sampler. a1 is makin it good here in the U.S. so buy this CD, ok?!

- a1 Make It Good!!!This is their debut album in the US, but they just released their 3rd album (Make It Good) in the UK (and some other European en Asian countries). I hope you like their sound, because you can hear all kinds of sounds trough a1's 3 years of success. The US album has 1 song from their 1st album, Here We Come, called "Everytime". A beautiful ballad, it was their 3rd single in the UK, which was released in 1999 with "Ready Or Not". The songs "One More Try" and "Same Old Brand New You" comes from their 2nd album "The A List". The other 4 songs comes from their last album, "Make It Good". "Caught In The Middle" and "Make It Good" came also out as a CD Single. You can hear a lot of instruments and of course some amazing voices from the talented a1 guys: Ben Adams, Christian Ingebrigtsen, Paul Marazzi & Mark Read.

- 'Caught' Out ThereDebuting with a collection of seven songs, a1 made a lame attempt at making themselves big here in the United States. The seven tracks, pulled from their three previously issued international albums - 'Here We Come', 'The A List', and 'Make It Good', are pretty much a mixed bag. Three tracks are solid. I'll give these boys that, they can produce some nice pop tunes. The two opening cuts, 'Caught In The Middle' and 'Make It Good', are both highlights. The former was a single release, but failed to set the charts ablaze. The other track that works well is the album closing 'Same Old Brand New You'. It's boy band pop at it's finest. The other four tracks are an entirely different story, however. They're dull. Very dull. Bland pop ballads that any act could have sung, quite honestly. That leaves the album with a poor ratio of three to four. Four duds heavily outweigh the three good tunes. Sadly, this band won't have another chance to break America. The third a1 album flopped quite badly over in Britain, leading to the group's break-up and the loss of their recording deal. To bad, I guess, but if this is all they wanted show us, maybe they didn't deserve to break in over here. Unexciting.

- You need to have the new a1 albumI have been an a1 fan from the beginning and I have supported them all the way, from the very first single that they brought out "be the first to believe" i fell in love with them speshly ben. I will now give you four reasons to become an a1 fan: 1. they have there own style in songs and dont try to copy any one elses 2. they are all very talented musicians and they play all their own instrument on the album 3. a1 are like no other boy band in the world 4. a1 are all george and have brilliant voices Now if that hasnt given you any reason to become an a1 fan then you seriously need to listen to the album beleive me you DO NOT know what you are missing
