The 69 Eyes are a Finnish horror rock band, formed in Helsinki during the early 1990s. Originally the band played garage rock inspired music and were self-described as 'garage glam'.

Nyt on bileet kohdallaan ja sellaiset bändit mukana, että yö karistaa korven mäntyä! Muodosta oma festari-tukikohtasi, tuo kaverisi mukaan ja lähde matkalle yöttömän yön festivaaliin jossa ei nukuta koskaan! Kaikki on huolehdittu puolestasi!
Jo vuodesta 2002 pohjoisen ylpeys Simerock on jälleen maailman pohjoisin festivaali ja Pohjoinen ei lopu koskaan!
Homman nimi on selkeä; kunnon alkuperäinen festivaalihenki, totaaliset bileet, jonne mennään kokemaan, eikä vaan päivällä käymään! Bändit, klubiteltat, korpisaunat, allasbileet, kaljateltat, ravintola-alueet, baarit ja teema-alueet tykittävät yötä päivää! Napapiirillä tila ei lopu koskaan!
Tule lentäen, junalla, omalla autollasi tai teiden tukkona matkailuautolla! Tule jo torstaina, rakenna oma festaritukikohtasi ja valmistaudu parhaaseen! Festarimatka ei lopu koskaan!

T he festival will take place across Utrechts three major venues: Tivoli, Tivoli de Helling and EKKO. Also expect some dance nights in ACU and special, intimate and acoustic concerts at one or more of the citys most beautiful churches.
Even a quick glance at this years line-up, plus the ones from previous years, will show Summer Darkness brings together a varied array of bands and genres todays underground has to offer. Gothrock, retro-wave, gothic-metal, avant-garde darkambient, hellectro, medieval, neo-folk, EBM, darkwave, synthpop, industrialrock, futurepop, neo-classical or noise; take your pick, its all there at Summer Darkness.
Although the main focus of the festival lies with the musical side of the undergound lifestyle, Summer Darkness also features various other special events. Expect the gothic picnic, citywalks, the gothic market, gothic fashion shows and much more!
