Since 1977, Danzig's work with The Misfits, Samhain and the band that bears his name has rubbed off on everyone from Metallica, AFI and Guns N' Roses to Wednesday 13, Behemoth, The 69 Eyes and countless others in a variety of genres and subgenres, from Goth and hardcore punk to black metal and darkwave.
