2 Unlimited was a eurodance group from Amsterdam, Netherlands formed in 1991. The project was the brainchild of the Belgian production duo Jean-Paul De Coster and Phil Wilde, who wrote and recorded the backing tracks. Their songs' vocals were performed by Dutch rapper Ray Slijngaard and singer Anita Doth, who also wrote the lyrics. Their first hit, Get Ready For This, was released in 1991 and took the European charts by storm, first as an instrumental version, then as a rap version. |

The U-13 Spirit of Detroit crew is working to have their newly-acquired hull ready for the 2008 season. The former Jim Harvey / Ron Brown built hull most recently ran as the U-2.25 Superior Racing and was driven by Ken Muscatel.

Reflexive Entertainment is working on some sort of mining game for Xbox Live Arcade called Axiom Overdrive. Which is surely a 2 Unlimited song. We say "some sort of" mining game because Reflexive's launch announcement, accompanied by one screenshot , is billed as an announcement "that the mining colony 'AF128' in orbit about Neutron Star PSR B1913+16 is now in full production".

It appears the U-2 hull is heading to Detroit to join the Dave Bartush fleet. It's one of the newer unlimited hydroplane hulls that's not currently on the water and needs some work. The big question becomes what's in the future for the U-2?
