Don't mistake this CD for the "one-man-band", World Party. This is not Karl Wallinger.

2 in a room is a group of Talented musicians and rappers who have made discos all over the world shake to their beats and be mesmerized by their lyrics.It's dazzling intelligent house music with latin chants,spanglish rap,and tons of wit that definitely makes it the most pleasant and one of the biggest surprises in the history of house music.If you're a 2 in a Room enthusiast like me don't forget to check the maxi-singles CARNIVAL,GIDDY UP & AHORA,as well as their finest work with C+C music factory called 'Boriqua's Anthem (original track & remixes) ' and cutting records singles "Las Mujeres estan ...",their former hits "wiggle it,house junkie,do what you wanna do & booty hump",which are unfortunately available only on cassette ( called simply 2 in a ROOM !) Karl Wallinger (formerly of the Waterboys) is the driving force behind World Party and their latest is also their finest. A drastic reinvention of the band finds Wallinger jettisoning the Beatlesque pop of previous albums for a more streetwise urban attitude. For "2 in a Room" Wallinger studied the old skool rappers, in much the same way that he dissected the works of Lennon and McCartney, and his hard work has paid off. One listen to "Ahora" and you'll know the new, improved World Party is a force to be reckoned with. His crew is too cool for school. World Party has, in the language of the street, 'mo props. I don't know how anyone made the mistake of ordering the wrong cd, but for people looking for more of 2 in a Room will not be disappointed. This is a great album. Anybody who avoided buying it some six years ago because it didn't get any attention will be kicking themselves when they buy it and find what a solid album they've been missing.

Sorry, but this is not the group World Party, that is the name of an album by the group 2 in a Room. It is also from 1995.
